Meet Marlene

Marlene Holder is a Physiotherapist with more than 30 years of clinical experience helping clients  restore movement, improve function, and achieve their health and wellness goals. Her professional background spans acute care, rehabilitation, community health, and private practice, providing her with diverse experience treating clients of all ages with orthopedic and neurological conditions.

Marlene integrates Pilates-based rehabilitation with evidence-informed physiotherapy to address chronic pain, postural dysfunction, movement impairments, injury recovery, and health promotion. She is passionate about helping clients develop strength, confidence, and body awareness through individualized treatment plans that support both recovery and long-term wellbeing. Working one-on-one with clients, Marlene collaborates to identify concerns, establish goals, and create personalized programs that improve function and promote lasting results.

A graduate of the University of Western Ontario with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy, Marlene is registered with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario and is a member of both the Ontario Physiotherapy Association and the Canadian Physiotherapy Association. She has presented at national and international conferences and remains committed to ongoing professional development. Her Pilates training includes Mat Pilates certification through the Nicole Pillar Studio and Reformer Instructor certification through STOTT PILATES. She is also a certified Urban Poling Instructor.

Outside of the clinic, she enjoys staying active in nature through hiking, canoeing, stand-up paddleboarding, and walking—activities that reflect her belief in the lifelong benefits of movement and an active lifestyle.
